The workshop
Steel, specified properly
MT Plant manufactures agricultural trailers and machinery attachments in Banbridge, Co. Down, Northern Ireland, supplying farmers, contractors and dealers across the UK and Ireland.
Who we are
A fabrication shop, not a catalogue
MT Plant builds trailers and attachments from raw plate and section. The work starts with a conversation about what the machine has to do, and finishes with a unit painted in your colours.
The flagship product is the 10T dropside trailer — a ten-tonne twin-axle unit on a heavy-duty fabricated chassis with hydraulic braking, sprung drawbar and LED road lighting. Alongside it the workshop produces concrete pouring buckets, handler and loader buckets, and bespoke fabrication for customers whose requirement doesn't fit anything standard.
Because every unit is made to order, MT Plant does not publish stock lists or off-the-shelf pricing. Specification, lead time and price are confirmed with your quotation.

How we work
What you can expect
Made to order, always
MT Plant does not build to a warehouse. Each trailer, bucket and frame is started because a customer specified it.
Fabricated in Banbridge
Cutting, welding, assembly and paint happen in one workshop in Co. Down — not assembled from imported kits.
Built heavy
Agricultural work is unforgiving. Chassis, sides and brackets are built for the loads they will actually see.
Direct conversation
You speak to the people building the unit. Specification changes get answered on the shop floor, not filtered through a call centre.
Made to order

MT Plant builds to customer requirements. Four steps from first enquiry to a unit on your yard.

- 02
Configure the requirement
Tell MT Plant the dimensions, machine details, options and how the unit will be used.
- 03
Receive your build quote
The team reviews the specification and confirms the commercial build proposal.
- 04

Lead times are confirmed with your quotation.
